Burns started her career in television in 1995, playing the lead character Peg from the Spanish-American teenage comedy Out of the Blue (1995-1996). Burns began her television career in 1995 when she was a part of the cast for the Spanish-American teenage sitcom Out of the Blue (1995-1996). In the following years, she starred in Baywatch: Hawaii The sequel to the Baywatch action show. Burns left Baywatch due to her pregnancies.
